Short break with my daughter. Hotel in a quiet location which is great at night for sleeping, but not many restaurants etc in immediate area. Short 15 to 20 minute walk however and you have plenty of choice. Good transport links within 10 minute walk.

We had a twin room which was a reasonable size. Plug socket on dressing table area did not work which was awkward for doing hair, makeup etc as this powered the only light in that area. Lighting in room was low, no bright lights. Good wifi in room which was handy. TV was OK, 4 or 5 English channels, mostly news but not there to watch TV anyway. Beds were very hard for our taste, took a while to get comfortable and sleep.

No tea/coffee facilities in room but when we asked at reception for these and extra pillows they were brought straight away (have to buy tea/coffee from reception, they just provide kettle and cups). Room makeup each day was bare minimum - cups weren't washed or changed, bathroom bin not emptied, cushions not replaced on bed.

Reasonable size en-suite. Shower was excellent however, great pressure and hot water all the time. While room wasn't dirty it wasn't extremely clean either - marks on some sheets, items in bin in en-suite etc.

Breakfast was OK if you went early. On 2nd day, we were about 45 minutes before the end of breakfast and there was little choice. When we asked about more bread and croissants, we were just told there was no more. Another guest complained and got the same answer and then waiters proceeded to laugh and make fun of her behind her back - not very professional. We had breakfast out on our 3rd day.

I would possibly stay here again if I got a good price, but as others have said, it is definitely not a 4*.

Budapest is a lovely city and would recommend it.

the hotel is near to the west railwaystation. tram station and subway is 5 minutes walk. the staff is very helpfull, well informed. the rooms are clean and sufficient. i would expect a little bit wider selection at the breakfast, but is just my personal oppinion, was a nice experience - will will return.

Hotel very clean.
Reception area is really nice.
Upgraded to a 'Superior room' was more like a standard one (not impressed) no kettle, no tea or coffee provided, only 2 English channels on the TV.
Bathroom very clean
Breakfast was awful
Good location but wouldn't stay here again.

The Hotel is located in close by the famous parliament building. Good location, very polite staff, breakfast not something to speak about, room was tidy but tiny. All in all decent for the price. I would recommend this if the price is crucial.
