Fine hostel, the host was nice and the location was 15 min from the lions bridge. Bathrooms were not that clean, but what can you expect for the cheap price. A recommendation is the hostel garden, nice and quiet to relax and drink some beer and eat some nice food!

Place is OK for stay one or two nights. I consider this hostel as a good place to stay if traveling in budget. Hostel looks more like student dorm, but anyway rooms were nice and clean. And price was decisive.

Nice reception, old boarding school- like building. The bathroom was really cold, not all rooms had curtains. However, the room was really nice with 2 storeys, we are 6 persons. Unfortunately the heater was not enough for such a big room.

Ruined our stay in Budapest. Firstly the hostel was not as close to the city centre as first stated. Then when we arrived the receptionist seemed very uninterested in assisting us to our rooms making us carry our own bed sheets to our rooms. We expected a 3 bed private room, however when we arrived we found out that the room was for four people. However we were the only ones staying so this was no big problem. Apart from the fact that the place was a mess. Very unclean. All of us even became very itchy at the thought. Could not sleep in the sheets we were given and decided to sleep fully clothed. We awoke to the sound of loud children and noise from the kitchen that was right next to our room and decided that we wouldn't stay any longer and check out that day. Not before taking a shower to freshen up. I couldn't help but feel you would have a better quality shower in prison. A button had to be constantly pressed to pump water through making the whole process very difficult. I'm not one for normally writing reviews but felt this had to be shared but I suppose you get what you pay for.
