Pleasant rooms and amenities, but sadly not very well managed.
The website suggests four places to eat - restaurants and a bar. Only two were open, and the bar was closed. Possibly through lack of staff I guess.
We ate one night in the Trattoria and the service was unbelievably slow.
The room we stayed in was nice and with a large balcony, however the curtains didn't cover the length of the window (some 3-4 foot short), which was bizarre, and despite booking a double room, we got a twin. Note; two single beds pushed together isn't a double, its two singes pushed together!
Receptionist wasn't rude, but not far off, and certainly not welcoming or helpful.
we were informed that the spa was fully booked, but when entering it was empty, and nothing going on. Perhaps a lack of staff again.
Shame as the complex could be good, but lacks the subtleties to make it welcoming.

Room Tip: When booking, make sure you get what you expect

We stayed here 1 night in May 2018 in room 106, which is a smaller room, not on the spa side of the property. It is a short drive to Auschwitz. There is no air conditioning, but it was a cool night, so we were able to open the windows to cool the room. There was quite a bit of street noise. There was no hair dryer in the room, and my wife called the front desk for one - but it never came. Room 106 had 2 single beds, and I am 6'2" so my feet hung off the bed. My bed also had a spring sticking me in the side. The shower 'tube' was smaller than most and was a tight fit for me. 2 bottle of water were provided, but no Kleenex type tissues. There are 2 restaurants. We chose a late lunch in the Polish one and the food was good, but service was slow. That evening we had drinks in the pub below the Italian restaurant and the Italian bar food was very good. The breakfast was good, but the 1 coffee machine always had a line of 2 or 3 because it was a slow machine. This place had lots of potential, but we had too many disappointments for me to recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights when in the area for a family wedding.

During our stay, we stayed in two different types of room after we discovered that not all rooms have air conditioning as standard. Suggest checking before you book. The hotel seems to be in two sections - a newer section that is more modern and spacious (with air conditioning) and an older section, smaller and more dated rooms (without air conditioning). Our first night was extremely uncomfortable with no ventilation in the room, even after we requested a pedestal fan. After some negotiation, we managed to get our room changed for night two and had a much more comfortable sleep. Bathroom in room on night two was nicer, although poor seal on shower meant it turned into a swimming pool!

The spa facilities on site were ok, sauna, steam and a spa - although unsupervised children kind of ruined the relaxation mode and suggest that this is more closely monitored (i.e. children without their parents shouldn't be allowed, both from a safety perspective and for the enjoyment of others!).

Parking on site was a bonus. Breakfast included in price was good without being great. Room rate was affordable for the standard of room. Overall, it was a stay of two halves - if staying in non-airconditioned room, it wasn't great. In a better room, you would consider staying if in the area.

Hotel looks nice and kind of stylish. Rooms are nice and big enough. Cleaness is adequate, even I found some dirty in tea can (which doen't make good expession). Meal good, especially italian restuarant. Breakfest average but adequate for this level of hotel. I got little bit bad feeling about some continuous noise in room (probably from some device in kitchen as room was located above). And also fridge in room was noisy (and empty).
