While the Barong and Keris Dance was interesting to see as a cultural performance, the lack of subtitles or sufficient explanation for the dance got us lost in translation as we struggled to understand what was going on in the dance. The sheet of brochure provided did not explain much. Needless to say, my family and I felt very bored throughout the performance. Will not go again in future, one visit would suffice.

This show was a lovely bit of culture for us all and the costumes were great. The show was hard to follow even with the summary sheet provided. At 100,000 per person was pricey for Bali given show only went for an hour. Glad we went but won’t bother going again.

Considering the amount of foreign tourists coming to watch the show, it would be nice if they can provide at least a brief script of the play and not just the plot of the story so we can appreciate it better. I honestly cant say if the actors are doing a good job or im just being bias coz I dont understand what their saying not unless they say a few english to catch up with the foreign audience.
Since we cant understand anything its reasonable to say that we got bored after 15mins of watching and cant say that its worth its value since its 100k per adult and im paying for 3. We really love Bali and were amaze how they value their culture thats why we watched the show but it would appreciate it better if we can understand the dialogues. Otherwise were like watching a movie in a foreign language without a subtittle.

The costumes were fine, the dance ok and the acting really bad and the show is too long ( one hours) I think they can tell the same story in 20 or 25 minutes. There is a lot of waste of time and bad jokes. The entrance cost 100 thousand rupees. I am convince they can show their folklore in a much professional way!
