The red haired woman on reception was extremely rude..!! Shouting at me from across the reception, moaning that my shorts where slightly wet even though the staff and literally just hosed the floors down and they where soaking anyway. This ended in a heated argument. Not what you expect at a hotel.

We didn’t get the room we had booked (pool view) but didn’t say anything as the red haired woman was just obnoxious and I didn’t want to ruin our break.

We had a nice time all together, rooms are modern, pool area is good, breakfast is edible, location is good.

This is the third time we have stayed at Melpo Antia, mainly because it is such fantastic value for money in terms of comfort and location! From here on this trip we walked to Nissi Beach, Cape Greko (although this took an hour and half) the harbour, and it was within close vicinity of all the nice restaurants we wanted to try of an evening!
we have stayed in both studio apartments, and one with a balcony overlooking the pool and all equally as nice. This time we had an apartment with a balcony but a view of the back of another hotel not easy on the eye but for what we paid we were not fussed - although we were close to the roads and the back of the Main Street noise wasn't ever a problem and we slept perfectly every night.
Enough room at the pool and most days we didn't go out until 10 am and still managed to get a sun lounger. The hotel is definitely suitable for all types of people both families and couples due to the location.
The only negative about the hotel which is why we have not given five stars is that the breakfast is just not great at all - although a lot of variety none of it is actually very nice. By the fourth day we were both just having a piece of toast, and my fiancé is not a fussy eater! the fruit is mainly tinned, the bacon is barely cooked and eggs look like they've been drowned in oil - hotel would be amazing if they could improve on this!

The hotel is located in the center of Ayia Napa only 10 minutes away from the bar street but nevertheless it's very quiet and calm in the hotel rooms and at the pool area. The staffs were always nice and smiling. We had enough choices during the meals. Cocktails at the bar were very tasty.
One negative aspect was that the music boxes for the pool were located under our sleeping room so we were woken up from this music every morning at 7.30 am. The rest of the week we used earplugs when we went to sleep.

It’s a terrible hotel, located on a noisy street with stripe clubs, restaurants and shops below rooms. My room is very noisy due to loud music from the club even after midnight. The staff at reception is very unhelpful and refused to change room for me. Food is not good as well.

Advantages: + Proximity to city centre
+ Spacious rooms
+ Restaurant Frankie's which serves decent food and a market in the hotel area

Disadvantages: - Unpolite staff. The redheaded woman at reception desk was really rude, which is unacceptable.
- We coulnd't check out later, even if we wanted to pay extra (late check out costs 50 euro even if you stay only 2 hrs more)
- Breakfast is very avarage and adjusted to English customers
- Room wasn't cleaned properly every day, even after cleaning the floor was dirty and full of hair. Our glasses were washed only once - after 6 days.
- You can hear all the noise coming from the streets in the night. We felt like in a middle of a renovation.

In overall, I would recommed this hotel only if you want to party until morning, miss the breakfast and then go out for the rest of the day :-)
