This is the third time we have stayed at Melpo Antia, mainly because it is such fantastic value for money in terms of comfort and location! From here on this trip we walked to Nissi Beach, Cape Greko (although this took an hour and half) the harbour, and it was within close vicinity of all the nice restaurants we wanted to try of an evening!
we have stayed in both studio apartments, and one with a balcony overlooking the pool and all equally as nice. This time we had an apartment with a balcony but a view of the back of another hotel not easy on the eye but for what we paid we were not fussed - although we were close to the roads and the back of the Main Street noise wasn't ever a problem and we slept perfectly every night.
Enough room at the pool and most days we didn't go out until 10 am and still managed to get a sun lounger. The hotel is definitely suitable for all types of people both families and couples due to the location.
The only negative about the hotel which is why we have not given five stars is that the breakfast is just not great at all - although a lot of variety none of it is actually very nice. By the fourth day we were both just having a piece of toast, and my fiancé is not a fussy eater! the fruit is mainly tinned, the bacon is barely cooked and eggs look like they've been drowned in oil - hotel would be amazing if they could improve on this!
