Our visit probably wasn't helped by cold winds and rain, but even without this drawback the treetop walk was less than we expected. The wildlife must have all been taking shelter because we didn't see any and the views were nothing spectacular. Would explore elsewhere or maybe try the zipline for a bit of excitement.

Hello,

Thanks for your review.
Sorry to hear that your visit wasn't a memorable as you would have liked. Unfortunately the weather in the rain forest can sometimes be cold and wet.
There are lot of magnificent birds to be found here so its disappointing to hear that you missed those also.

Thanks again for your review.

The treetop walk was lovely, even on a rainy day. The views are incredible, especially from the top of the tower. I didn't eat in the café but the food looked nice and the gift shop had a good selection of clothes and gifts

Hi Nikita,

Thanks for your review.
The views are stunning form the tower and the shy walk, they give you a completely different perspective on the rain forest that can be enjoyed all year round.

Thanks also for your comments o our Café and gift shop.

Regards

Overall the experience was wonderful. The zipline tour was exciting and our zipline guides Rabin and Naomi were energetic and knowledgeable. The conservation of the national park is noteworthy. The photo package for the zipline tour could be improved.

Highly recommended. Our party had some who have limited mobility and needed crutches to negotiate the walkways and the Office kindly provided transport to the very entrance of the Walk and also arranged a return pickup time. It was a very windy day and to view the magnificent and tall trees moving to and fro was amazing. I would like to see more signage to find this location. We spotted a sign telling us about the venue but no distance was included on the sign. Our entry road was a beautiful drive on a narrow road through the forest but on many occasions I was tempted to turn around and not continue due to no additional signage explaining the distance still to travel. We travelled from Skenes Creek using Turtons Track and other than the sign at the turn off we found no other mention of the Fly until we were nearby. We are glad we persevered though as it's well worth the effort. There are the usual gift shop items for sale and a very nice food area to enjoy.

Hi Wayne,

Thanks for your review. I'm glad that we were able to assist your to see the attraction.
I agree with you that there could be more road signage but unfortunately that is a matter we have raised to the local council and have not had resolved.

A lot of our guests opt to travel from Apollo Bay to Lavers Hill then back to the fly as it is a wider road and better sign posted.

Thanks again for your review.
