This beach had a very unsafe shore dump / break. Not ideal for families of young children or the elderly.

Enjoyed my afternoon basking in the sun at this patrolled beach. It wasn't too crowded and the beach was clean and absolutely picturesque. There is also a big toilets/shower area which was also very clean. Can't wait to be back in the waters of Sunshine Coast already!!

Mooloolaba is one of the best beaches in the world because they have rocks where little babies can go in the rock pools - you have three major swim areas first one in front of club house where the surf is large - you go up Parkyn pde, Mooloolaba half way up to a second tower for a swim which the surf is not as large but still great and then you go the next one at the end near the spit where it is pretty calm because of the wall they put in which makes Mooloolaba a protected beach with nice big sandy beach areas as well.

This beach is very friendly for families with young children. Small waves to encourage kids to have a go at body surfing without fear. Lifeguards patrol beach. Lovely rocky areas to investigate for sea life too!

This beach is both beautiful and felt very safe.

The kids love using the body boards we hired and there was plenty of amenities close by for drinks, food and ice cream.

Well worth a visit.
