This is a wonderful family attraction providing an indepth knowledge of the Outback. It portrays the prehistoric history, indigenous cultures, European exploration and life in the Outback. Great hands on displays for kids.

Fantastic Alan...really happy your whole family enjoyed their visit. Yes our Interpretive Centre is a fantastic educational resource for all to enjoy and you can have fun while learning, but I think the best thing is that you can relate better with a greater understanding when you personally visit our Flinders Ranges and Outback of SA. Thanks so much for visiting and letting everyone know you enjoyed your visit. Regards Pauline

I was short on time so didnt get to see the museum but what I did see was very nice.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The prices a little high but that's about usual when you leave the city.
The toilets were very clean.
The food looked nice too.

There is more to this exhibition than meet the eye. Allow plenty of time to view and experience everything, and the souvenir shop is very good.
