Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone staying for a couple of nights stop over in Ballarat. Friendly staff, the room was spotless & a good size with mini kitchenette and the bed was super comfy with quality pillows! Set back from the main road so no traffic noise and very quiet plus private car park for guests.

We enjoyed our recent stay at Ballarat Central City Motor Inn. On arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome and were provided with advice on suitable family attractions in the area. Our room was neat, clean and boasted a tasteful, modern interior. Only 5 minutes from Sovereign Hill and with the added bonus of an indoor heated pool, I would not hesitate in recommending this friendly and affordable accommodation to anyone visiting Ballarat.

Picked this place for a 2 night stay based purely on price so didn’t really expect too much from a motel, have to say room was great, clean, quiet and a good shower. Air con gave out a good heat to warm the room up and not a great noise from like some I’ve experienced. Breakfast was simple, box of cornflakes bottle of fruit juice two slices of bread which you toast in the room with the toaster provided. There was also a microwave and a plastic jug so 6 eggs from the store gives you scrambled eggs for you breakfast. If I have to be picky the WiFi wasn’t the best but for the price for a near central location can’t complain.

Stayed solo in a deluxe room (number 9) whilst visiting my son who studies at the local university. Friendly staff and room was spacious and very clean. I had requested a second floor room with a balcony which was lovely to sit out at and enjoy afternoon tea. No noise from the street or other rooms. Loved the bathroom heater, split system and electric blankets for the cold winter. Continental breakfast was a great start to the morning. Comfortable bed and great water pressure in shower. I didn’t use the indoor pool but it looked great. Highly recommended.

Stayed in a twin room with 2 friends. Owners very friendly upon arrival. We were surprised the room was so big and spacious for the price. The queen room is separate to the single bed and the balcony had a lovely view. I’m quite fussy so I was worried about staying at a 3.5 star motel but it was extremely clean and all amenities were very modern. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.
