We took a group of UK visitors as they had been unable to see any of our iconic wild-life. In less than 90 minutes we were able to show them kangaroos, wallabies, koalas echidnas and wombats and more. The Reserve is very well laid out and includes lots of activities and play areas for the kids, big and small

If you are in Australia and fear that you will not see a kangaroo or a koala this might be the place for you! Although advertising indicates this is a wildlife park the animals are in either cages or enclosures so the experience is not like viewing the animals in their native habitat. There is no admission charge, the area is clean, and the paths are wide and well maintained.

Blackbutt reserve is a free national park where you can view a small selection of animals including wombats, birds, snakes, koalas all for free. Highly recommend it for a day trip.
