Guide was very friendly and super informative. Incredibly picturesque. Got very close to yellow eyed penguins and hooker sealions and saw many birds and fur seals as well. Enjoyed all the changes to get out of the van and walk through some amazing scenery. Definitely recommend this tour especially if you're interested in conservation.

We were collected halfway along the peninsula (near our cottage) & 1st stop was the Albatross Centre, where we were guided to a top viewing stop- the windiest place!
Our guide-Sean- was informative, friendly & enthusiastic providing a superb & memorable experience -Many thanks! We were out for 5 hours.
The drive to the penguin conservation provided many wading bird photo opportunities, we even saw a stoat!
As described when booking, there are a couple of downhill walks to the beach, where the sea lions & penguins can be viewed & the seal pools. It was awesome to see the penguins coming out of the sea & climb the mammoth hill to their nest sights! As well as helping a little to protect them.
Be sure to take some extra layers of clothing even if it is a warm day.
We were also lucky enough to go to see the young sea lions playing in their creche pool!
Highly recommended would hope to return one day!

Highly informative - the bus met us at the info site in town - be sure to bring a snack/drinks since this is a longer tour. The ride to get to the site takes a bit of time but the scenery is pretty and the guides keeps things interesting. We did not take the albatross center tour but were part of the group that observed the albatross from the outside viewpoint with one of the guides. Those in our group who did take the up close tour of the center seemed to really enjoy it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was awesome to be on private land where you can observe both the yellow eyed penguins, sea lions, and fur seals so close yet without disturbing them. This team is passionate about observing and not disturbing the animals. The walk down to observe the penguins and sea lions is steep so you need to be prepared to handle the return walk. Some in our group opted once they got back to the van to not go down the other path to see the seals but that walk was somewhat easier since steps had been made that at least seemed to break up the "steep" affect.

Definitely a wonderful afternoon and loved the opportunity to observe such unique wildlife in such a close setting. Great job by the team! Highly recommend.

We had an educational long afternoon driving round the otago peninsula. Our two guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. At the same time they took good care of us and the animals we saw. I recommend this tour to anybody interested in wild animals.

Our small group of 8 travellers had an amazing time inspite of horrible weather. Our Guides did all they could to work with the weather to ensure we had a good experience, but, remember this is a wildlife hike, if the weather is bad dress appropriately. 3 of us decided we were gonna give it and have fun and the guides were right there beside us in the pouring rain and we saw seals and penguins and got chased by a sealion, watched the Albatross and amazing landscape .... it was a great day and bonus we got dropped at a pub on the way back to the boat ...
