The narrow drive entrance off a busy one way street is not easy to negotiate for bigger vehicles. On entering our two bedroom unit very disappointed. Old dirty stained carpet and kitchen cupboards looked like card board. The dirty dusty blind above the kitchen sink could only be closed if we stood on the bench. We did not touch it. Queen bedroom no better. A almost empty water bottle sitting on bedside table and when I pulled the bed out to plug in the bed warmer paper and a lot of dust on the floor. Our room had not been dusted or vacuumed before our arrival. I would not recommend any one stay here.

We needed a bed and this motel was on state highway 1. Bed was comfy but room dated but clean. The noise was from other visitors rather than the road. Easy walk to dairy but long walk to town. Expensive for a budget motel.

Room Tip: Upstairs as bottom room is noisy.

We needed a few rooms close to town - and this was perfect.

A very reasonable price for 3 singles and a double bed in 2 separate rooms- all comfortable.

turned up late - but heating was already turned on and room was cosy.

Easy to find near the university and museum

really friendly staff and couldn't be more helpful.

rooms are tidy and comfortable - and for the price point - you probably don't get any better in Dunedin

Booked this because had 2 rooms and separate lounge - can't fault housekeeping- clean and tidy. Decor and premises bit dated. Free wifi. Our unit was cold on arrival and took some time to get warmed up, very grateful for electric blankets at night.
Traffic noise could definitely be a problem if you are a light sleeper - we were quite near front but think that would be similar in most units given location.
Reasonable value for the layout we needed to cater for our family.

Were shown the unit by the friendly, helpful manager. Older units but of good size. Could do with an update but served the purpose. Quite noisy with students partying on the street outside at night and other guests crashing around in the unit above, but overall fine.
