We were impressed from the moment we walked through our apartment door. Our apartment was new and generous in size, we also loved the layout and the view. The rooms were quiet and private, with decent bedding and nicely appointed bathrooms.The hotel’s facilities were lovely and new, our children loved the pool and the spa. The room was a little grubby, mainly due to the dark colours showing up marks. We will definitely be returning to Sebel Docklands.

The location in the Docklands is great. There's a market on a Sunday right in front of the hotel along the wharf where there's also lots of cafe's and restaurants and right near the stadium. The hotel lobby and foyer is impressive and welcoming. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and lovely. The lap pool, spa, sauna and gym were all great. I loved the sparkly purple tiles throughout the pool and spa area and in the lifts. The room itself was spacious and well designed. We had a two bedroom room, which was plenty of space for a family of four. The kitchen was well equipped (except a dishcloth to was dishes before putting them in dishwasher!). We were allowed to check in early, and had a 12 noon check out with the deal I found, which included free parking and a bottle of wine.
We went to the top floor to have a look at the tennis court and roof top garden and BBQ area which also looked great! The only fault I can think of, was the pillows were terribly uncomfortable. It would be great if they invested in some firmer latex pillows for a better sleep. Would definitely recommend for families, and would return again.

As you mention, we do have some great facilities within the hotel, including our lap pool, gym, spa, and rooftop tennis and BBQ areas, suitable for corporates, family or leisure getaways!

Our spacious 2-bedroom apartments are well equipped with everything you need for short or longer stays, It’s also great to hear that you were able to enjoy an early arrival and nice relaxing late check out within your stay.

Definitely the 4 star rating seems to be self overrated... Had a great stay here few years back...Came back for the same experience...

This time the appliances didn’t work. The equipped kitchen did not have dishes/pans. The sheets had stains. Gave up after repeated requests to fix the issues....

Reception was a disaster. The line was 15 deep and going no-where and with an ACCOR silver membership, I was able to jump the queue only to be told to park the car and come back as the room was not ready although it was 2:20. Parking became the next issue but I won't get into that. Returning to reception, the room was still not ready and the line was longer and every one was being told 5 minutes and your room would be ready. By 3pm we were finally in our room that I can only explain as the smallest room I have ever been in- Compact with no room to move and we are small people. Forget about the great location and catch a tram to enjoy Docklands rather than spoil a weekend here.

I understand these rooms may be used for footie fans and bucks parties etc and that may explain the disrepair of the room everything was broken, but I can not excuse the dirt . I have taken pictures of the poor hygiene and dirty . From stained sheets damaged dirty walls and curtains and furniture if you want them . However its obvious the rooms are not inspected before guest and given the key to the rooms . I find it hard to believe you would lower your standards given the good repatriation the hotel name had .
