We arrived at check in to be told that we had been upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom apartment, which was much appreciated.
The apartment was really nice and light. It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was a full kitchen including a stove. There was a small dining table and a sofa and two chairs as well as a standard hotel desk in this room.
The bedroom was a reasonable size with accessible power points and good lighting. An iron and board with supplied in the wardrobe. Also in the wardrobe was a safe that was easy to set.
The bathroom had a large shower, toilet and sink. This was the only place I found something not perfect - no counter space for toiletries. There obviously was just not the space to allow for it.
The location was excellent. The circle tram stop is just along Flinders St. The 58 tram to Queen Victoria market and the zoo has a stop in the middle of the road just up Williams St (a bit of a hairy stop because it's level with the tram tracks).
Coles Supermarket is easy to get to by walking along Flinders towards the Immigration museum and turning up Elizabeth St opposite Flinders St station.
I will definitely return on my next trip to Melbourne.More
