It's what you'd typically expect at a markets. The same 8 to 10 shops repeated over and over. Plenty time buy.

We shopped at Queen Victoria market for a special lunch we were having.
All seafood and fruit & vegetables beautifully fresh. So easy we got everything at one place.
Also stocked up our freezer

A must whether if this is your first visit or not. I have been there many times and never sick of the place. The place has so much to offer.

Caught the 59 tram out to stop 7 to the Victoria markets on Sundaylots of nick nack store. We notice a couple of fruit and veggie store closed about 1.00pm. Loved to see all the butchers and fish merchants, but we bought different cheeses, bread, olives, and nuts. The misses wanted some special doughnuts from the donut van, but the line wait time 1hr:40m. Great place to see and experience, people very friendly

We love our visits to Vic Market, when living in Ballarat we would visit every 4 to 6 weeks to stock up on meat and seafood, ge some fresh fruit and vegetables and then have a look around the stalls. The main reason we went was for the meat and seafood. Excellent prices and fresh. The difference on some things can be up do $20 to $30 per kilo and even more. The deli section is interesting and always something different to get.
We like the atmosphere through the fruit and vegetables and again great bargains to get.
The food court isn't large but has good food and different options. The stalls are good for a walk around, there are a few stalls that are similar so need to buy at the first place you see check the prices....
