Description: Roule Galette is a little piece of France in the city where you will find French staff, speaking the language of Voltaire who will serve you in a warm and intimate setting reminiscent of Montmartre in Paris. Music, whether Breton or French songs of the last century or more modern times will accompany your meal along with authentic Cider from the Pays d'Auge in Normandie, or Cotes du Rhone or Burgundy wines. Not to forget the inimitable Orangina.

We came for breakfast, liked it so much we came again. This cafe specializes in galettes, a regional deliciousness that is a buckwheat pancake/crepe. Check the specials and consider the merguez or the goat's cheese. Coffee excellent, although always reliant on the barista.
This is not a large place so you may miss out on a seat one time but the tables rotate quickly so persist. Excellent watching the making as well.

Tiny place, with some of the best creps I have had outside of France. Perfect stop for a relaxing lunch. Highly recommend this place.

Found this place on TA while in the city for business.
Tiny place with less than a handful of tables outside and similar inside, I had a Nutella Crêpe and truly enjoyed it, coffee was average, French staff is very nice.

It is a quaint eatery with the option of eating outside undercover. The service was friendly and wonderful to hear the the women talking to each other in french. The crepes and coffee were delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back when I'm in Melbourne again.

Came to spend a few days with my teenage daughter in Melbourne looking to try some different cuisine and venues.
This place was perfect tucked away in one of the many gorgeous lanes off Flinders.
Friendly & quick service, lots to look at food delicious would recommend.
