Dropped in for coffee. Loved this quirky cafe. The owner described all the treats available. We went with the yoyo with rhubarb cream.....yum!
A must visit while in North Hobart.

This is the second time we have lunched here and the food here is really quite delicious! The service is fast and friendly too. This cafe is cozy and has a retro feel. The food is so good and just as good as going to a fancy, expensive restaurant in the city. The gnocchi was my favourite and the best I've had in a very long time. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place.

Shared white anchovies in sage leaves lightly coated in breadcrumbs & served with warm bead, olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start. They were utterly delicious- so, so good.
Followed by a light, tasty home made (forgotten the name) pasta sheet with pancetta lightly dressed with oil and chilli (very subtle here) on rocket. Lovely simple Italian flavours.
Again a share of amazing light, fluffy, ricotta cheesecake. Put heaven this cake, washed down with excellent coffee.
As with good Italian food there is a simplicity in the number of ingredients.

Yes this place has eclectic decor and decent coff, but the breakfast menu is a TOTAL RIPOFF. I don't care how many cute knickknacks have gone into creating an alternative hipster venue, $22 for a brioche with bacon is taking the proverbial. Three people, breakfast and coffees at almost $70 is a joke! This venue relies on social media to be its voice,so we think it is time to sound out a "buyer beware". Only eat here for breaky if getting gouged is your thing, otherwise steer well clear.

This place jad been recommended to us for breaky. I had the roast veg breaky and my hubby had the brioche with haloumi. Thought the brioche would be toast and not a bun, but tasty. Filled up with mums, babies and toddlers while we were there but not too much noise. Lady serving was very nice.
