Two night stay on business in Adelaide. The hotel was clean, comfortable and central to everything I needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even offering loan umbrellas for the rainy days in case I hadn’t packed one.

Room price was reasonable, and although I didn’t use them, room service and restaurant prices and options also looked attractive.

We spent an enjoyable weekend at The Hotel Grand Chancellor, hosting a 70th birthday function in the Sebastyn's Bar Lounge, followed by a comfortable stay-over in an executive guest room. We appreciated the ability to park our car in the secure garage. Included in the booking was a delicious, international buffet breakfast. We consider the whole weekend to have been excellent value for money. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. Our thanks to the Events Coordinator who delivered on every single one of our requests. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a conference last week

It’s not the poshest hotel in adelaide. Rooms are large and clean, but nothing special.

Reception ok, large foyer area is good for meetings etc

200 characters is too many

We had a two night stay here in May and would definitely recommend. I didn't love waking up to the mess on Hindley Street on Sunday morning but the location was good for where we were going (Oval and Festival Centre) and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and we found it very affordable. The rooms are a bit older, but the bed was comfortable and everything was in working order. The only issue that may bother some was that my air conditioning was quite loud while on - it sounded like someone was running a shower upstairs but this wasn't of great concern to me.

Centrally located in the main street of Adelaide city, walking distance to Museum, Art Gallery, river, mall etc. Nice rooms serviced daily. Hallways could do with new carpet.
Friendly helpful staff on front desk in attractive foyer. Under hotel parking for $18 per day. Only problem was the lift from carpark to foyer was out of action and we had to lug our cases up narrow stairs - We were assured this was temporary.
Would stay there again.

Room tip: We had no view - you would need to ask
