A great choice for a night on Fraser Island. The rooms are well appointed and the hotel has several restaurants and access to spectacular scenery and sunsets. The staff were great - from the ferry ride across to the front-desk checkin. Recommended!

Travelled on business. We stayed in an Executive three bedroom villa; it was very spacious with all the amenities of home. We enjoyed dinner at the Sandbar most nights, and catered for our own breakfast in the villa.

Our stay was awesome, no complaints at all - great place, great staff, great food, great sunsets and a great day spa! Relaxation is the key and it felt like that on the island! No hassles and everyone was happy!

There are only two resorts on Fraser Island and this is the only one that you can stay in without a four-wheel drive vehicle. It was clean and comfortable but I wouldn't describe it as luxury accommodation. The access to our hotel room was via a wooden boardwalk and the balcony was a bit sparse, although it looked directly over one of the many wetlands and also the bay itself. The best thing about it is the location right on the beach and surrounded by woodland. The grounds have been laid out in a very tasteful manner to fit in with the surroundings.

There were three pools with easy access via a gentle slope - this would be good for someone with reduced mobility.

There were three restaurants plus a coffee shop/bar down by the bay. The food varied from excellent to acceptable.

There is no free WiFi. They charge $5.00 for half and hour or more for longer periods.

Staff were friendly and professional.
