Was offered a job interview, arrived at Brisbane domestic to get a ticket to the city.
I presented my concession card HTC as well as photo id only to be told we not give discounts to people that do not live in Queensland.
I'm on $40 a day and Brisbane Airtrain took $35 I hope you's are proud that your profits are being made by those that can least afford it.

Thank germur

Located just a short walk from baggage carousels up the escalators to the train
Very helpful person at the ticket counter. Quick and easy transaction to purchase a ticket
Short wait for a train. The platform indicator did initially direct me to the wrong platform, but there are only 2 which are adjacent to each other so it wasn't too hard to work it out. Clean and comfortable with free WiFi

This is definitely the quickest and most convenient way to get into the city from the airport, but it is expensive. It avoids all the traffic jams, of which there are many whilst they widen Sir Kingsford Smith Drive, (main road to town).

It costs $18.50 (no concession) to travel from Brisbane's airport on Queensland rails aging train service. Just a regular old train no different to any other, it costs plenty just because it goes to the airport. 3 of us caught this train into Central station last week and it cost a total of $55.50. Next time it's a taxi or car hire. The trip should have cost around $4--it's the biggest stitch up in town.

We took an Uber from the airport, but our return flight was at rush hour and we decided to give it a try. Short walk from hotel and had lots of space on the train. Super easy and no charge for kids!
