Our driver Norm was entertaining and accommodating throughout the day. He even made a huge effort to remember everyone's names - some feat, given he takes out tours regularly.

The trip certainly was as expected. We saw termite mounds, water holes and the highlight was certainly Pat's river cruise with the dancing crocodiles was a highlight.

The tour groups are small and Norm provided all services - driver, tour guide and caterer. Lunch was basic, but very suitable for the type of day. I'd definitely recommend going with a smaller group, rather than the big coaches we saw.

Two bits of feedback to the company. Firstly, we would have liked some actual information about Litchfield itself - size, history, geology, its special significance etc. Norm's commentary was informative, but lacked this basic info.

Second, I would have preferred to visit only two water holes, rather than three. Wangi Falls was actually the best for swimming, but we didn't realise this until we reached the second and third (both of which were very crowded!). And we didn't spend a great deal of time at these two. So we unfortunately missed out on our swim.

All in all, it was a good day out, good value for money and I recommend it.

We booked two day-trips to Kakadu National Park and Litchfield National Park with Offroad Dreaming . They certainly exceeded our expectations . Our guide Adam was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about the history of Darwin , the local flora and fauna and the culture of native aborigines from him . The landscape and scenery was spectacular. The wallart at Ubirr were fascinating and came alive with the interesting stories that Adam share wirh us. There were many highlights for us on both days, the breathtaking view at the lookout point at Kakadu, visitng the Arnhem land with our local guide Neville, swimming at
the cascading waterfalls at Litchfield National park, getting up close to the crocs on the Adeliade river with Pat and ending the day with beautiful Sunset over the wetlands , and also the healthy and yummy pinic lunch prepared by Adam. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone !
