Went to Cartier exhibit though this review is much more about how they show than an individual exhibit. Exhibition are always well presented and touch many senses and individual needs. Use of small area sound & light heighten guest perception whilst information offers deep understanding of events and exhibitions.

Drove from Sydney to Canberra especially for the Cartier Exhibition and we weren't disappointed. We arrived on a Monday morning and it wasn't busy. It took approximately 2-3 hours to do the whole exhibition and it was absolutely fantastic. You can walk through the exhibition by yourself or pay for an audio guide. To be able to get up close with the magnificent jewels was fabulous. Such a great exhibition to visit and well worth it. Parking is available underneath the gallery for a fee (which was unfortunate to be charged again).

Cartier exhibition. We went on a Saturday afternoon and although they said it was very busy, we did not have trouble seeing the exhibits. They were truly glorious and not just the fantastic gems but the workmanship in the clocks, necessaires etc was amazing.
well worth the visit.

Well worth a visit to the cartier exhibition. Stunning jewellery and stories behing many pieces. The exhibition is well layed out and lots to see. It took us 3 hours to see the exhibits. I suggest you get there at opening time if possible, by the time we left there was quite a crowd. The good part after you have seen the exhibits there is plenty more to see in the galleries if you wish. We stopped for light lunch at the café that was served quickly and reasonable cost. Could easily see exhibition again!

The museum cafe is well placed for lunch on the lake. The food is tasty and the views are lovely. The museum is of course very much worth the visit
