Absolute standard for Mantra. Easy booking helpful staff and well appointed rooms. The real bonus is you can book group style rooms with one access doorthe feeds into separate rooms/apartments. For families it's a very smart option as you only need the one key to access the one door to two separate rooms. It's very clever. But it's the Location you are really buying. A short stroll right into the heart of the city but it's only a 4 minute walk out the back to all the terrific eateries on Lonsdale Street. A First Choice is In Mort Street (rear street of hotel). Yep very good place to camp for a gig at the Nations capital

Bed was way too hard and gave us a back ache, menu selection very limited, the bathroom was straight out of the 80's. Give the cost it was very poor value for the money paid. Would not recommend this particular property to anyone not up to the standard we would have expected from a Mantra Hotel

Dear dkaylo997729,

Thank you for the comments on your recent experience. We are sorry to hear there were some disappointing aspects to your visit. Our beds at the hotel have recently been updated to brand new beds last year, so we are sorry to hear that they were found to be uncomfortable. Good location, but very expensive 2 x nights over $850 for a 1 x bedroom place. Despite paying for an extra person, they ran out of fold away beds, so that wasn't ideal. Staff were reluctant to assist my daughters, and i spent a while on the phone from Sydney trying to sort this accommodation for them. Wouldn't recommend, they hicked up the price for the music festival weekend as well.

Small inconveniences. Card to carpark did not work and movie channel poor quality. Staff were friendly and helpful and restaurant was lovely. Fold out sofa was very uncomfortable and windows quite dirty. Main areas were quite ok.

We stay at an interconnected one bedroom apartment and a double room. You can treat it as two separated rooms or a two rooms apartment. It's very convenient for a family. The swimming pool is small but very good plus the bonus sauna room. Very close to the city centre.
