Membership is expensive. Timetables for classes very limited. Just not competitive in the market. Always cancels best classes in school holidays. Cancels popular classes and generally doesn’t care about gym clients. Parking very difficult

Dear Valued Guest,

Warm greetings from Hyatt Hotel Canberra.

Thank you for your feedback. The main purpose of our Clubhouse is to serve accommodation guests. We have made marked enhancements every year (most recently in 2017).

Happy for you to speak directly with our Clubhouse management staff for any further clarifications.

Not particularly good organised service

The environment is great but unfortunately the food and service didn’t meet expectations

One quinoa and pumpkin etc salad with avocado had little quinoa or pumpkin
One puy lentil and grilled zucchini flower salad was very disappointing
The lentils were ok but the zucchini flowers were stuffed with something that the staff couldn’t describe
Nasi goring was delicious

Staff appeared to be a bit disorganised

This hotel is exquisite. Our room was extremely spacious with a great work area, very generous bathroom space including a tub that even a tall person could be comfortable in! Room service food was tasty, timely and arrived hot. We had one issue re service in the dining room at the dinner service, which may have been an anomaly, but it was handled so professionally that it would not make me hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone.
The hotel is bright and airy with nice, wide corridors and high ceilings in common areas.

Five day stay at this historical hotel. Rooms are large as is the bathroom. Location is a fair walking distance from Parliament precinct and galleries. Restaurant, cafe and bar within building, but if you want to explore other eateries need to catch an uber or taxi. Gym and pool are large. Bikes can be hired for rides around Lake Burley Griffin. Staff are helpful.

Having recently stayed for the second time at this beautiful hotel my husband and I once again enjoyed every aspect of our four night hotel stay. Staying in a King Balcony Room on the third level provided us the Ambassador Lounge facility for evening drinks and canapés, breakfasts, and refreshments throughout the day. The room, including luxury bathroom, was comfortably spacious and very clean. The balcony was furnished with a cane patio setting and overlooked the lovely hotel gardens. The staff are to be commended on their caring and friendly attitudes. Vivian, Chrissy & Nikki in the Ambassador Lounge excelled at ensuring our Lounge visits were always enjoyed. Breakfasts in the Promenade each morning were outstanding and again the attentive attitudes of restaurant staff must receive mention. Valet parking was most efficient also with the Concierge staff being attuned to our requests; being provided complimentary bottled water prior to our hotel departure was just an added touch to our amazing stay.
The historic hotel is of Art Deco period and oozes much luxury and charm which provides guests the perfect place for a relaxing time away. Hyatt Hotel Canberra will always be our go to hotel when staying in Canberra.
