We stayed 2 nights with out three kids in a two bedroom suite which had two full bathrooms. I will rate the hotel 2 or 3 stars. Although it was clean, it needs to be renovated. The lighting is poor throughout the hotel and the beds were really hard. We woke up several times during the night to move around as our backs were soar. We told the reception, but unfortunately nothing was done. The hotel does not have a pool, but guest can use the indoor pool at the sister hotel which in 200m walk. The sister hotel Palazzo Leopoldo looked much nicer. We wish we had stayed there instead

We loved the location and the Palazzo. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Our room the Demidoff was lovely but there was no storage for much of anything. We had out suitcases and clothes laying all over the room. No hooks in the room or the bathroom. We stayed 3 nights so unpacking was almost impossible. It has a small balcony up a few stairs but no very usable due to weather. The gardens and outdoor common area was wonderful. Good place for a glass of wine or coffee. Breakfast was OK too, not fancy but good.

We're just back from 4 exquisite days in Florence, staying at the Palazzo San Niccolo. It's a lovely place to stay—super clean, convenient, friendly, and stylishly Florentine (in an unforced way). Best of all, it's just across the Arno from the city's astonishing main attractions, where the Renaissance comes alive in the present day. Close as it is, it's a bit off the beaten track, less packed with tourists and students, with charming restaurants just a few doors away.

The staff at this hotel were the best that we experienced during our Arblaster & Clarke wine tour of Tuscany. All were very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay memorable. My wife and had a large comfortable room with a firm bed. The public spaces are decorated in varying ways and it was a really funky (in the best possible sense of that term) inn. It is right in the centre of the small town and recommended very highly.

We spent one night in this hotel a couple of weeks ago during our several-week travel in Italy. Radda is a very small town, so the hotel wasn’t hard to find but you have to be prepared to work on a parking issue, if you have a car. There is no parking at the hotel; however, there is some free parking available in the area, some closer, some further. The young man at the reception was reasonably nice and helped us with the suitcases.
Generally, we liked the hotel – the room was clean, big and comfortable; the bathroom was rather spacious. We were on the second floor and were lucky that there was an elevator (heavy suitcases). The breakfast was excellent – coffee was delicious (of course, you’re in Italy!), the home-baked cakes were really good, and there was plenty of food to satisfy different tastes and needs.
There are several restaurants, bars and taverns close-by; just keep in mind that some may not re-open for dinner until 7 p.m.
We would stay at this hotel again, if we happen to be in the area, and will recommend it to others.
