If you want to relax with the amazing views that this hotel offers removed from the hussle and bussle of Phuket - look no further.
My husband and I stayed at Como point yamu initially for 3 nights. We loved the room, service and setting of the hotel so much so that we extended our stay for a further week!!
The Thai restaurant is fantastic, we highly recommend the tiger prawns, the blue crab curry and the prawn pad Thai! We indulged in a couple pizzas from La Sirena restaurant which were equally tasty!! But given our love for Thai food we dined mostly at Nahmyaa during our stay- they serve you as much rice as you can possibly eat (white and/or brown) we also really enjoyed the chicken green Thai curry. We always ordered morning glory as it’s fantastic as well! If you enjoy fried foods the soft shell crab was also lovely and crispy.
Special thanks:
Ice and Jane at the Nahmyaa restaurant, they were very attentive, friendly and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Tee (manager of Nahmyaa) his customer service skills and etiquette had a real positive impact on our stay! He was so accommodating and always happy to see us! Ake who is one of the managers front of house always made us smile and really looked after us when we wished to extend our stay!

We had a lovely room in the standard room for the first three nights! We were informed all the rooms have a wonderful view but after extending our stay for a further week we decided to upgrade and enjoy one of the bay suites which was totally worth it for the space, views, balcony and the bath tub was lush!!!!!!
Every Wednesday the hotel host a welcome drinks evening with complimentary red wine, white wine and beers with snacks and small salads on the lawn, which is a fantastic touch! We were fortunate enough to experience this twice! The hotel also have two happy hours 5-6pm and 8-9pm which we enjoyed regularly.
We had a slight issue with one of the local taxi drivers who we almost used for our trip out one evening to the old town however, due to his demeanour and hostility my husband made him return to the hotel immediately. Cherry and Franz dealt with the taxi drivers behaviour accordingly with the company and provided us with a discounted limousine service which made our evening more relaxing and enjoyable. We attended the Sunday night markets in old town Phuket which I highly recommend to anyone! The food, vibe and atmosphere was contagious!
The breakfast in my opinion was outstanding - I had the broth each day without the meat, followed by the real toast which consists of seeded toast, avocado, tomatoes and salad and they kindly added a potato rosti at my request followed by a chamomile tea. My husband loved the pancakes and tried various dishes on the menu. I realised on our second to last day I could order the pancakes dairy free so I’ll be enjoying them tomorrow before we leave for the airport. They have buffet style juices in cute jars, fresh coconuts with straws, cereals, meats, cheeses, different breads, sweets treats, fruits and an a la carte menu which you can order various hot breakfasts at one per customer.
The pool and views were breath taking! At this time of year the sun was consistent and enjoyable! We like to attend the gym which is adequate enough for cardio and weights. The hotel offers a lovely spa, sauna and steam room with an additional pool/jacuzzi area.
We attended the Como beach club on one occasion via the free hotel shuttle bus and boat, you need to book a day in advance. The beach club leaves at 10am or 11am and returns due to the tide at 3pm or 4pm. This was very enjoyable as they had a lovely rustic beach vibe there with a pool, bar, beach and cabanas. We felt this was lovely to have the option but we preferred the pool and relaxation that the hotel offers.
The turn down service with a sweet treat each night was a fab touch! We felt the complimentary mini bar service in the room each day which consisted of 2 beers, juice, soft drinks, water and a couple snacks replenished daily was something we were really grateful of.
In summary, we had a fantastic stay, we feel super relaxed and recharged and we would happily return to this resort in the future. Thank you! More
