My wife and I just left from our stay at COMO Point Yamu. We had a wonderful stay.

Before arriving in Thailand, the hotel contacted us with an overbooking and offered us a stay at a different hotel nearby. They ended up not needing to make us move, but because they inquired, they upgraded our room and gave us complementary massages.

The room was like a slice of heaven. It included a perfect plunge pool overlooking the bay on the south side of the hotel. The common area pool is gorgeous and the staff at the pool is attentive.

I took the Yoga and kickboxing classes which were free and a great workout. The spa at the hotel has an adequate gym, multiple massage rooms, a steam room, sauna and other amenities.

The breakfast buffet which was included with our room is comprehensive and the accompanying entrees are a great way to start your day. We also enjoyed the Thai restaurant at the hotel.

Overall, I can’t wait to get back to COMO Point Yamu. Recommend it to anyone going to Phuket.

So different from every other place in Phuket! Away from all the beaches and noisy tourists, this property is built on top of a hill! We had an amazing corner suite with an infinity pool and a butler who completely pampered us! Struggled a bit with vegetarian food but it didn't hamper our experience! We spent five days here and it wasn't enough! If your looking at doing something different and having an indulgent luxury experience definitely check this place out!

We booked COMO at the last minute but managed to get a pool suite, however received an upgrade upon arrival as we do visit regularly. The Hotel Manager came out to greet us on arrival, and Executive Chef Steven Black was also around, so it was great to meet him also, given his reputation. We spent Christmas Day at the Beach club swimming and sunbathing, and the Manager Noc took great care of us. The next few days were simply lovely, the weather was absolutely brilliant, the food as always was stunning, and nothing was too hard for the kitchen staff. The Happy Hours are excellent also, and we felt very pampered. Is an ideal Hotel if you really want to relax and enjoy the beauty of Thailand.

Our first trip to Phuket which is a GREAT destination for families. We’ve stayed in numerous Como properties, and although this wasn’t the best, it was a nice option for our family. The design (which I think predates Como ownership) is unique and modern. Set on a beautiful hilltop offering amazing views from the main pool, which is a showstopper. And the food was very good, and as expected the spa is incredible.

We made one trip to the ‘Como beach’ which was not at all worth the 20-30 minute trek by van+boat. They’ve set up a beach ‘club’ which is clearly adjacent to other beach clubs on some temporary looking dock. Although it’s nice to have a beach option, it was clearly below Como standards. We spent the remaining days at their wonderful and huge pool.

One of our favorite excursions was at the elephant jungle sanctuary where we spent half a day caring for rescued elephants. And there’s also a wonderful gibbon sanctuary with nearby waterfall that’s enjoyable. Plenty to do in Phuket!

If you love pools, stay at COMO Point Yamu! Amazing pool with amazing views. Great COMO service, food & spa.

Concierge arranged lovely trips to Elephant Jungle Sanctuary for bathing with the elephants & guided tour of Gibbon Sanctuary/waterfall swim.

Boat ride to the beach club was nice, but only went one day and spent the rest of the time poolside!

Suite was large and tasteful. Private pool was pretty, but never really used as the main pool is so beautiful.
