We stayed here because of its proximity to Mash Brewery. The room was quite a good size and a good layout, but service was almost non existent. We couldn't get hold of anyone prior to arrival when we tried to email and call. Then, we were kept up late by what seemed to be friends of the hotel staff drinking outside our room, and we were woken up really early by the cleaner banging around in the cleaning cupboard next to our room. When we went out for a late breakfast after our first night's stay, we came back to find our room had not been serviced. We tried to call reception but didn't get an answer, so eventually walked down to reception to ask if we could get someone to tidy our room. The price was reasonable, but I still would have expected a slightly higher level of service.

We stayed here as it was close to our daughters wedding venue. We were not overly impressed. The water out of the taps was brown, the linen was not overly clean, nor was the room. We chose a spa room, but honestly, the non spa rooms are subatantially biggger, and lots cheaper. The room was very small.
It was not good value for the $170 we paid. You can get much better rooms for this sort of money. The restaurant was OK though.

Our son and his fiance booked this hotel as it was close to their wedding venue in the Swan Valley, so we did too. Who would have expected that we'd be the only guests that weren't member of a motorbike group? So we had to endure partying into the very early hours, motor bikes starting up at 6.45am outside our bedroom, disgusting behaviour and no consideration of others. The hotel knew they were coming but didn't have the courtesy of letting us know! They have a no noise policy after 11pm but what point is there in this when there's 50 or so unruly guests and the only person to control them is a young receptionist. The management don't respond to emails, just leave it to the receptionist to take the blame. This hotel would not impress any tourists coming to the swan valley.

Room Tip: Make sure there are no large groups or motorcycle groups.

A great venue for functions or just a fun day out.

The function we attended was a cultural aboriginal performing art function with sounds of the didgeridoo while watching the cultural dance and feasting on authentic aussie cuisine. Ask about their aboriginal experiences and also their affiliate Maalinup Gallery where you can also buy authentic aboriginal arts and crafts to finish off your real aussie experience

My partner and I stayed in the Spa Suite overlooking the mini golf course. We came by the front reception to see if we could check in half an hour early however there was no one there and the door was locked however the lady came straight over when we called and was happy to check us in early. We didn't think too much of it at first that the door was locked at the reception and no one there however later that day when we walked by we noticed other people waiting to be let in and when we went to check out the next day again there was no one there and door was locked.

The room wasn't too bad to stay in, however it is much smaller than what we were expecting, the bar fridge prices were a little high ($3.50 for a bottle of water), the room only had two coffee sachets which us coffee lovers were a little disappointed about. The spa didn't work properly (very loud and was unable to turn down, also one end of the spa had hardly any pressure although the other end had too much) and one of the "grooming kit" bags in the bathroom was open with products missing.

During the day we decided to go for a dip in the pool however was freezing and had no heater, so we decided to go into the public spa which was advertised however had a cover on with a pool chair placed on top (would have been nice to made aware it was no longer operating).

At 7:15 pm on Saturday night we headed over to the restaurant for dinner. The lady who served us had to check with the chef to see if it was ok for us to be seated as he was ready to leave (45 minutes before it is said to close) - thankfully he said it was fine. There was only one other table in the restaurant (2 people) however took the lady 10 minutes to get us our 2 drinks.. also when we ordered our food we were told that everything on the menu can only come with chips and salad instead of what it is advertised to come eith. Which we were fine with however my dish was supposed to come with a mint jus and instead had gravy so was disappointed that I was not informed before ordering. Nevertheless the meal was still quite delicious.

The Supa Golf and the putt putt was fun to have a round of though
