Restaurant is in very nice port of Sutivan city and we spent here every evening of our last week on Brac. Excelent meals and wines.

Our family of four stayed at the Hotel Lemongarden for 5 nights in July and we wish we would have stayed a few days longer. The resort is unique, intimate, beautifully landscaped and something I doubt could be replicated. The resort is intertwined with the town and community. Below is some detailed information that might be helpful.

                Room:
Definis Building rooms 4 & 5. Since our daughters were 17 & 20 we wanted two rooms near each other. We were offered three options and we chose the largest rooms. All the rooms are unique - so your experience will be different depending on the room selection. Definis 4 & 5: one was a deluxe suite and the other deluxe suite sea view. The sea view room was slightly larger. Both of these rooms share a very large rooftop terrance that was stunning (but given it was so hot while we were there the rooftop terrance wasn't used much).

Some of the rooms require a large amount of walking up hill/steps. If you have mobility issues, please consult with reception prior to making your reservation.

Rooms had great air conditioning and we enjoyed the in room coffee service. We felt the bathrooms were a little basic, the showers were small and very simple...not luxurious at all but they got the job done.

                Food:
Great food - ate breakfast every day and dinner 3 nights. We enjoyed the seaside tables and service. If you get breakfast included - you can order whatever you want off of the menu and as much as you want. If you have any food allergies or vegetarian/vegan requests - tell the restaurant a day or two before your reservation so that they can accommodate your request. Goran & Mateo were very friendly and provided great customer service.

                Location:
Adorable small town. Our boat tour picked us up right in front of the hotel. For the island tour - we were picked up one street away. There are two markets within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Taxis to neighboring towns are available and the front desk can arrange pickup. There are ATM machines near the hotel.

                Pool:
The water was warm, the landscaping perfect. The only downside was the cheap pool chairs and pads - they could invest some money around the pool. Pigeons roost in the building next door and the adjacent park. They can be loud at times. If you aren't a fan of birds - don't hang by the pool.

                Beach:
You can not walk to the private beach in the summer - it is too hot. A golf cart is always available to take you. Many people ride bikes to the beach...but note...the road turns to gravel half way there. The beach area is very relaxing and shady. This was our favorite place. The sea is beautiful, clear, warm and peaceful. There are towels, bathrooms and food service. Note - 3 of us are vegetarians and there are no vegetarian meals at the beach. They will happily modify a recipe to make it vegetarian...but for the price, that doesn't make sense. They should add one vegetarian meal to the menu.

                Spa:
They have a very nice private spa . To front desk can reserve your one hour time slot.

                Transfers:
Do the hotel boat transfer. I simply emailed reception once and airport pickup was arranged. For 350 euro a gentleman met us at the airport with a sign....he drove us in his car three minutes to the dock. A speedboat delivered us to the hotel door within 30-40 min. Upon departure - for 250 euro a speedboat took us to Split for our next transfer. Super easy and stress free.

Bottom line: The hotel is like a dream. I can't think of a better place to relax and escape daily life. Keep in mind, the hotel is romantic, charming, and unique with excellent customer service that stands out. I would not call the hotel luxurious. I can't wait to return some day soon.

On the final night, sat on the harbour edge, eating yet another superb meal we discussed areas of our stay that we felt could be improved …. We found none, absolutely nothing!

Hotel Lemongarden and the beautiful village of Sutivan were quite remarkable. The hotel is of the highest standards from top to bottom (top three worldwide we’ve stayed at), staff throughout, rooms, pool, gardens, food, drink just everything has had so much thought and focus put into it you simply couldn’t ask for a better experience. The private beach is amazing and a wonderful addition for a relaxed day by the sea.

I don’t want to write too much more, as like many others, wish I could keep it a secret BUT this hotel and its staff deserve credit. If you’re looking for quiet luxury, surrounded by amazing staff who simply cannot do more for you, on a beautiful island then you really need not look any further than Hotel Lemongarden.

                We will be back.

Room tip: The mobile cocktail bike bar at the end of the harbour wall serves superb drinks 😉

This was our fifth stay at the lemongarden and as always it was amazing. It’s so peaceful and just what you need for some R&R. The rooms are all fab and the service is excellent . Before we left we made our booking for next year we were so gutted to be leaving, huge thanks to Jelena and her entire team including: Katerina, Goran, Fisch, Dani, Vedran to name just a few. All of the staff are fabulous sorry I can’t recall all of their names 👏👏

We spent part of our honeymoon at the Hotel Lemongarden and safe to say it was the highlight of our trip!

To start, the facilities are absolutely spectacular. The rooms are so well-designed and unique, with plenty of space and very well appointed. The hotel pool is as idyllic as it looks in photos, and the bar and restaurant are gorgeous as well. There is a spa facility with a sauna and steam room that can be reserved for free by guests, which was a wonderful surprise.

The beach is absolutely beautiful. We learned that there are technically no private beaches in Croatia, but Lemongarden has a tucked away beach accessible by complimentary hotel shuttle or bike that has a large, stunning area for hotel guest use only. The sea is stunning, there are cozy hammocks and plenty of lounge chairs, bathrooms, and a fantastic restaurant.

The food at the hotel is some of the best we had in Croatia. From the complimentary Welcome Drink (the Lemongarden Spritz), to the daily breakfast with homemade marmalade, baked goods, and fresh fruit, to the fine dining at dinner and the grilled items at lunch, we loved everything we tried. Our only wish is that the lunch menu was a bit more extensive.

The service was top-notch, and they made our stay one to remember. We can't recommend enough!

The photos don't do this hotel justice. It is so beautiful. Every inch of the hotel and everything is so well thought through. The grounds and gardens fo this hotel is stunning. Service is impeccable. We rented the car and drove around the island for one day. That was fun. But the hotel and beach area (15 minute bike ride away) is so relaxing and beautiful it was great to do nothing. Breakfast and dinner by the sea at the hotel restaurant each night was beautiful and delicious. The small town of Sutivan is beautiful with a handful of good restaurants and not overrun with tourists. The staff at the hotel is highly trained to meet your every need. So nice and cheerful. Daniela was our favorite in the restaurant. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Everything made to order. The hotel has it own's bakery and pastry shop. 5 stars all the way around. Beds and comfortable and rooms are dark and cool. The most relaxing 4 days ever. We will be back.

Room tip: You will get so used to relaxing 4 days is not enough.
