Recently back from Art Holiday in Area and we had a Sunday Evening Meal with Locals .Excellent Pizza and we heard they were commencing short Afternoon Italian Cookery.Four of us went up on one Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m for 2 hours Two Sisters and Grandmother introduced us how to make filled pasta. They took us from raw Pasta into Pasta Machine cut into slices Next into squares and filled with four meat mix.We tried to form into trianagles round our pinkies. Very hard for "man" hand. Other 3 Ladies had delicate fingers . No problem. Next made Ravoli. This was better Pasta fillings. Fold over. Press down.Cut with pasta roller to give edges.
At end of Afternoon Grandma was persuaded to show her pizza forming skill and made a 16 inch giant pizza for us to eat.at end of our course. Very Very Tatsy fresh out of Oven. Grandma still had the knack and we departed back to our Villa with our afternoons "work". Surprise to rest of guests when our Host cooked our feeble attempts. They reported great tasty meal. Well done Trainees. If in Area eat there and maybe try the Cookery Course. Back in Scotland 8 lbs fatter after all our Italian Food.

We had the best pizzas and met the chef at this lovely family restaurant nestled in the mountains. Cheerful, art-ful family atmosphere.

Probably the best pizza I have had.
Really friendly family run restaurant of 3 generations, and grandma is still working! Authentic Italian food is a delight for locals and tourist alike.
Definitely a restaurant I highly recommend.
Thank you!

Family run restaurant serving the best pizzas in Italy - not only that, probably the best value as well - 4 Euros for a Margherita ! The evening I was there my pizza (tuna & onion) was made by Flora the 64 year old Mamma. 1 litre jug of draft local Lambrusco (12%) 8 Euros ! What are you waiting for . . .
