The bedroom was tiny for a couple and two dogs, all tripping over each other to get in and out or to the bathroom. They state dog friendly which they are at an extra cost of £30 plus the extra b/fast charges. Buffet b/fast most of the cooked was well done or inedible as my husband found out! I didn’t bother, one dried out fried egg left under hot plate and not renewed, I had an excellently prepared fruit salad, well done to the chef for that a lot of work went into the prep and very fresh thank you 🙏. Cooked wasn’t good although apparently the sausages were good quality as was the bacon just totally dried out under hot plate. Yoghurt was warm and inedible, however a great choice of yoghurts, maybe I selected the wrong yogurt? Staff on short supply, however the lovely girl at the bar was extremely attentive and busy with functions etc and still managed so very well without losing her cool, well done! An utter asset to the business. Our TV didn’t work however when reported, very promptly a gentleman came to fix it for us, thank you 🙏.
Just too small and rooms aren’t dog friendly, overall b/fast was under lamps too long hence I avoided rock hard egg. Staff Uber friendly and professional just not enough of them to stretch around the rooms, facilities and make the stay enjoyable, sadly we couldn’t wait to leave, hungry, tired and pretty unhappy with our stay. Sadly we won’t return because of my points above. But all gratitude to the amazing team that are employed in the most beautiful house, just sad, poor accommodations and food and I had to return my supper as it was undercooked, too much attention on functions and not paying guests 🥹
