I have heeb blessed to have travelled the world, extensively and stayed in every conceivable type of accommodation. The reception here was the most unfriendly, surly, dismissive person i have ever met. Her disregard for a disabled traveller was norhing short of disgraceful. She should not be in the travel industry. Try elsewhere.

Situated as it is,about midway between Siena and San Gimignano in what can only be described as a fairytale location, the Hotel has a lot going for it. It has perfectly manicured gardens,a nice little pool, which was extremely welcome during such hot weather, very convenient parking, within the castle walls, efficient air conditioning and some helpful staff. There were a few things that need addressing however. The shower in our room was very small, even though the bathroom itself was a good size. Our room had no view at all and the window backed onto the adjacent restaurant, which is less than a metre away, with only a wicker screen between us and the diners, which meant the shutters had to be closed at all times, thus we never had any natural light in the room. Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant, with the gentleman owner being particularly nice.

Lovely lovely hotel in a stunning historic village. Swimming pool and a lovely garden. Both most welcome. You can step out into the main square for some good shopping and excellent local restaurants.
Delicious breakfast. Hotel ideally place within the city walls.

This was my least favorite of our hotels in Italy but I think it was due in large to our room location. We were first floor directly over a noisy restaurant making it impossible to sleep without closing windows and Being too hot!

The staff was friendly & helpful, breakfast was great with lots of choices in spite of not having a restaurant. The terrace was beautiful! I’d love to be there in summer beside that pool!

Great location inside the walls convenient to everything!

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was peaceful, beautifully decorated, very clean snd floors were heated. Out of the tourists path and enclosed in a castle type building. Breakfast had the best croissants I ever ate. Very close to Siena. Many small stores that sold original made products such as pottery and leather. Owners were wonderful and took lots of time with us. The restaurants offered local food and if course wine from the region, Tuscany.
