We got an early bird rate of €25 per night, so we weren't expecting much to be honest, so we were pleasantly surprised with the check-in, and size of the room, the hotel is dated, but perfectly clean. Very close to the railway station to the Airport or Turin (not to the city centre, so you'll need a bus to connect. The last train from Turin to Borgaro/Airport is 19:43!)
The biggest disappointment was the bar. They had one type of beer (Becks) and could offer my partner a glass of prosecco, which was completely flat, so I'm not sure how long the bottle had been open. We were then told that this was the last bottle available. The only other wine was a half open bottle of red, and that was the last bottle too (were we really in Italy I thought...) Not really acceptable for anywhere that wants to call themselves a hotel.
There was plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet, although the 'american breakfast' was quite disappointing as the hot food comprised of only dodgy looking scrambled eggs, cold baked beans and chicken wings. I had what was labelled as a plain croissant, only to find it was full of jam.
Good value place to rest your head for the night before a flight. Eat and drink elsewhere would be my advice.More
