Where to start? The island is so picturesque and relaxing. The Skala hotel is in a great location, only a couple of minutes walk from restaurants and where the ferry docks. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean, has light and airy bedrooms and sumptious breakfasts and the staff..... super friendly and helpful, I have never been made to feel as welcomed at any other hotel and cannot praise them highly enough.

Returned again this year for a two week stay at Skala Hotel after a stay on Kos.
This hotel really has the best service and kindest staff in Patmos.

The island is a special place anyway, but the location of the hotel, quiet but near restaurants and the beach and port is excellent. the staff go out of their way to help with any query big or small, and do so with real friendliness. The rooms are really clean and comfortable and the views beautiful. The pool area is very relaxing with always enough loungers and pool towels. The breakfasts are extensive, and this year they now serve juices and salads at lunch-time.

Overall just another wonderful stay. Cannot recommend the Skala highly enough!

Room Tip: A quiet hotel. Sea view rooms also overlook the pool area. Mountain views lovely.

The Skala Hotel is a perfect retreat on Patmos. It feels like home. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel staff are kind and welcoming. Warm smiles greet you when you first arrive and throughout your stay. Really a perfect place to feel like you are at home while traveling to Patmos. It's centrally located: you can find fun shopping in Skala, walk to St. John's Cave, St. John's Monastery, and local beaches. It's my second two week stat at the Skala Hotel and I will certainly return.

I love the Skala Hotel so much I returned again this year and am booking again for next year. The Skala Hotel boasts friendly and helpful staff, spacious clean and tidy rooms with lovely views, daily room cleaning, delicious salads and juices for lunch, plus an amazing location which is only metres from the beach and minutes walk to the centre of town. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Patmos who want the perfect balance between peaceful retreat and access to everything. Thank you Skala Hotel for another wonderful stay!

A wonderful two weeks at the beautifully clean and quiet Skala Hotel. Friendly, helpful and very professional staff. Great central location in the town on the harbour front but entering the courtyard through the archway of jasmine - it's a haven of peace!
Great salt water pool with sunbeds and seating, and lovely shaded, terrace areas for breakfast and resting throughout the day.
Highly recommended.
