My husband and I stayed three wonderful nights in this beautiful hotel. It was the least expensive hotel in our Northern Wales and Ireland road trip and also by far the nicest. The rooms are large, the beds are comfy, and the common spaces are wonderful. As an added bonus, the breakfast is spectacular and we had a lovely view of the Rock of Cashel from our room.

The couple who manage the hotel (and I'm guessing own it as well) were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again or recommend this hotel without hesitation to anybody!

Loved our stay at the Aulber House! Grounds and house are BEAUTIFUL - finely-landscapes trees, classically furnished house. Large for a B&B, great option for bigger groups traveling together. We couldn't get over how quiet, restful, and beautiful the space was.

Rooms were very spacious and bathrooms clean and well-designed. We loved spending time in the den in the evening, and playing chess in the sunlit front space on the second floor. Breakfast was a wonderful, large, delicious spread, and the proprietess made us delicious traditional Irish breakfast.

Within walking distance of the center of town, Hore Abbey, and the Rock of Cashel. Wholeheartedly recommend this B&B if you're visiting!

The first thing you notice is the beautiful landscape surrounding this well-kept house. Bernice showed us our large first floor room before pointing out the way to the 10 minute walk to the town center for dinner. The fabulous "full Irish breakfast" was cooked to order and served in a pleasant dining room. We were off the next morning for a 5-10 minute ride to the Rock of Cashel, having thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room tip: Handicap accessible rooms are available

My husband and I, along with my parents, stayed at Aulber House in August 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful, inside and out, with stunning gardens and a wonderful sitting area inside, atop a beautiful wood staircase. Bernice was most welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and quiet and breakfast was excellent.

While staying, we had an unfortunate event occur back home that required us to have access to a printer/scanner and Bernice was so incredibly accommodating, even though it was right during the rush of breakfast. Bernice - thank you for a fantastic stay and for all of your help!

* Beautiful heritage property with large stunning gardens. Tastefully decorated in period furnishings.
* Our room on the first floor had distant views to the Rock of Cashel.
* Lovely spacious room, nice furnishings.
* Good sized bathroom, comfortable bed
* Breakfast area a bit cramped, breakfast was OK but average for a 4 star
* Short walk to town, easy and mostly flat on footpaths all the way.
* Good parking area
* Wifi free and worked well
