We had a great stay at the castlemartyr. It was for a family wedding so we shared the house with other family members. Bread ,milk , eggs ,cheese & a bottle of wine in the house waiting for us which was really nice. Only thing that was awkward was we only had 1 key per house. With 3 different couples coming and going at different times make it difficult at time but overall was a great place to stay.

Stayed in the mews adjoining the hotel. Accommodation was super and resort was fab. Pool is well designed and a fantastic setting, very relaxing. Plenty to do in the area for kids and very close to Fota wildlife park

Stayed here with my boyfriend and two other couples. The lodge is very will furnished and decor. We were in castlemartyr for a wedding and stayed 2 nights this was much cheaper than 2 nights in hotel. We also had access to spa facilities. The grounds are lovely too. The lodge was perfect for us as we had freedom to relax in living area and also kitchen to cook breakfast.

Only slight negative was we were told there would be a breakfast hamper on arrival. The apartment sleeps 6 and we were given 6 eggs one loaf of bread plus tea and coffee. Not really a hamper to suit 6 people.

Upstairs in the lodge was great. Both bedrooms were very nice. Some of the furniture was starting to wear. Bathrooms were very new and very luxurious. However the toiletries supplied were very basic.
Downstairs was nice but not luxurious. Tv was old, wifi was good. No tumbledryer but there was a washing machine! The outside of the lodges need painted and look a bit tired.
The access to the swimming pool was great. It would be better for the hotel to supply the towels rather than bringing back wet towels to the lodge with no way to dry them.
Location is very good. All in all, a good week was had. The welcome hamper was a really nice touch
