Great atmosphere, friendly staff and very good food.
The steak tartare, duck and tarte tatin fantastic but best of all was the Paris mash, a taste of France on the Mornington Peninsula.

Thank Sergio P

This truly is a great place to experience fine French dining. We had three courses as it was too hard to choose any less. Terrine De-campagne with cherry relish and toasted sourdough, and Salade Nicoise were the entre choices with mains of Gippsland grass fed sirloin steak, and Medaillons D'agneue - rosemary infused lamb rump. Delicious! We finished off this exceptionally fine meal with Tarte Tatin (pink lady apples with ice-cream and cream. Mmmm! and Mousse Au Chocolet with Seasonal berries.)Accompanied by some delicious wines, it was a feast. The venue is relaxed with various seating arrangements with views of the garden, vineyard and the district. I was looking forwards to a game of boule but, alas the weather was not kind. A little damp. I also like the selection of herb planting alongside the path to the dining area. Interesting!

A refreshing casual place for a weekend meal in an area of fine dining. Relaxed setting and decor with honest French food and a fantastic wine and beer list. Add in a few French staff and it does make you think of travelling!! If there with your better half grab a spot by the window! All meals we saw looked delicious especially the steak tartare. We devoured the chocolate mousse and perhaps should have ordered one each. My pick for red hill winery lunch!

Visited this quaint little French bistro for my daughter's birthday lunch yesterday. It is situated in the surrounds of the Ten Minutes By Tractor Winery and has a lovely walkway entry with cottage gardens either side. Staff are very welcoming, and though they had made an error with the booking numbers (only minor in our case 3 instead of 4), they very promptly rearranged the table to accommodate us. The wines offered are those from the vineyard and were of excellent quality. As a white wine drinker only, the Blanc de Blanc sparkling was excellent as was the Savignon Blanc, and I was assured by my fellow diners that the red varieties they consumed were of equally high quality.
The meal itself would take too many words to describe in depth. We each had different entrées ranging from Steak Tartare to Salmon Gravlax and Salad Nicoise, and mains from Beef to Lamb dishes. Each dish was cooked to perfection according to our requests, and the meats extremely tender. My accompaniment of mashed potato with Creme Fraiche served in a baked potato ski was unbelievably delicious. Desserts eaten by my fellow diners were also faultless and I was very tempted to share the Tarte Tatin but resisted.
For a very busy little bistro the quality of the food and service was first class!
