The hotel was pathetic and the worst part is we had no choice....The rooms are like dump yards
Food was stale and the net was not working...Worst place to stay. the reception staff had the worst possible attitude...Were very arrogant

unfortunately we had left Khartoum and 5* luxury and ended up here after a lengthy road trip.

first impressions implied that it had been "star-trecked" from a war zone in the Middle East.
Tired looking. Dirty. Poor drainage. loads of rubbish outside everywhere.

the inside didn't dissapoint either and was just as bad.
poor dirty reception area. old wooden ceilings that had lost their beading.
and the bedrooms were dirty. hard beds. dirty running water. and a shower pipe hanging in the bracket with no spray head!!
The food was below average and I'm surprised no one got I'll.

Avoid unless you are on a very tight budget.

nice bed
noisy(63db /2m) cooler
lazy setting of wifi access points cause frequent disconnection due to using same frequency(convergence).
ground floor two room with kitchenette without cooking heater, locked balcony doesn't give you emergency escape.
1st floor balcony is completely sealed with zoo cage.
2nd floor 10m high from the ground has open balcony.
some room has piano style traditional room key.
always same breakfast(8-9 kinds of dish) but taste ok.

fair, and exceptionally good when you compared other hotel in this city.

I visited the University of Gezira in Wad Medani and stayed at Imperial Hotel from 20 March 2015 to 28 March 2015. The hotel is conveniently located near the university. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. There are good options for the breakfast served. The hospitality and customer care is worth mentioning.

The Staff are very hospitable and quick to help even with the language difficulty, they try to accommodate the guests.

There is free available internet and for free I stayed here, it was good. The location is good too, if you like quiet places.

The food was freshly prepared with good variety to choose from during breakfast.

Stayed: March 2015
