We found the Cubo apartments on-line simply based on rave reviews and decided to take a chance. Best decision of our Italian vacation. The Cubo apartments were newly updated, immaculate and 4 out of the 5 apartments have amazing views of the bay of Naples and Mt Vesuvius (the 2 our family stayed in, Africa and Europa, had those views). But even better, the family that owns Cubo couldn't have been warmer or more willing to make our stay perfect in every way. They treated us like family. I would also highly recommend their restaurant "Signum" open for dinner (chic decor featuring SUshi/Asian but will also serve all the traditional Italian dishes). And from morning until evening the little cafe/bar is open serving coffee, homemade baked goods, drinks and their homemade limoncello (excellent). We chose the Vico Equense location becasue it was recommended that you could access everything in the area easily since its right on the train line to either Pompeii, Sorrento or Naples. At first we were going to stay on Positano, but I am so glad we did not. It would alwasy have been a harrowing drive in and out of Positano to visit these other destinations. Instead we hired a driver for one day to take us along the Amalfi coast (see my review for Aequelimo). Vico Equense itself was an un-touristy small Italian town with its own charm. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Room tip: Ask which apartment you will be assigned. 1 of the 5 apartments does not have a scenic view so you want to know that i n advacne so you are not dissapointed.

We stayed in the apartment called Africa, which was two bedrooms and one bathroom, full kitchen and sitting area, w/d, and lovely balcony with view straight on of Naples and Vesuvius. Really charming service -- as everyone says, these folks genuinely care that you enjoy yourself and have what you need. Even sushi! Clean, comfortable, stylish. Plus we found the town endearing, and made convenient by the Circumvesuviana commuter train. Reviewing the train separately. Definitely choose Cubo for your Naples-Amalfi area headquarters.

Room tip: I don't believe there are any bad ones.

These apartments are fabulous. They are stylish and well maintained. We stayed in Asia Apt. it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very nicely decorated and furnished to high standard. I would definitely return. Breakfast was included, which was taken in the hotel coffee shop/restaurant. It was a typical continental style breakfast of pastries or cake and coffee. Very nice staff and owners, who couldn't do enough for you. Vico Equense is a lovely little town 5 mins from Sorrento and both are easily reached using the Circumversuviana Railway. 10 out of 10!!!

We stayed here last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've never received a personal service like this before and I'm fairly well travelled. Alfonso the owner is extremely helpful and can't do enough for you! Micky always pleasant and served breakfast with a smile. Stefania extremely helpful and would respond to emails within minutes on suggestions, tips and guides. We were even upgraded to the Europa apartment right at the top with sea veiw on our last night as the traffic noise was a bit annoying in the America apartment.

Like previous comments, apartments have all the mod cons. Awesome all the way!

Highly recommended and will definitely be back!

PH, London

Room tip: Europa is just amazing!
