“A must if you visit lake Maggiore”

Sapori d'Italia, Lago Maggiore
Reviewed 8 November 2015

This is well worth a visit to this majestic site. We took a short boat ride from Baveno. Still privately owned but visitors can see the majority of the premises. There is an entry fee. The downstairs 'grotto' rooms are very interesting and the large gardens are picturesque. The downside is that it can get very busy, to pre-book and arrange a guide is probably a good idea.
