This is a small, family-run hotel a few miles outside Pisa. Its high rating, which we endorse, is probably more for the friendliness/helpfulness of the owner/managers than for its facilities.
There's no restaurant, but there are lots of dining opportunities in the area (even in early November when we came). The hotel will give you good recommendations: Il Martini is quite special, and Lo Squalo well worth a visit.
Don't come to watch TV if you're an English speaker: no relevant channels, but why watch TV here anyway??
Come with a car? - good parking available.
We were very happy with this as a base from which to explore Pisa, Lucca and other parts of Tuscany.
