Nice, clean, pleasant, quiet hotel,
always I found a welcoming stuff, simple but clean, strong Wi-Fi internet,
heating system worked fine, clean and well maintained bathroom.
Because of the snow, I had to use the garage for the night, very convenient.
Close to 2-3 nice bar-restourants, 3 min by foot from the slopes. No need to take a ski equipment to hotel - just take a locker on the ski shop at the slopes area. (Marcelin or.others)
Quiet nice place for quiet vacation, breakfest just fine, eggs, cheese, ham, bread, tea . Possible to get good coffe from the bar no charge, fruits...

Room Tip: park behing, there is a free parking area, only if you need to be covered from snow use a garage, its costs 8 Euro per night,

Our third time at the Il Fraitevino and this place gets better every time we visit.
Clean spacious rooms that overlook the mountain are great value for money
The Breakfast is really good and freshly cooked
Best of all is the staff - couldn't be more helpful - thanks again

Hotel Il Fraitevino was good value for money, the room was spacious and the location quite near the slopes. So hotel itself was very good. The problems arised in the midweek after breakfast. There were 7 of us in our group and 5 of us got stomachache after 4-5 hours from breakfast. All 5 of us vomitted 8 to 12 ours. When I discussed this with the hotel manger and asked him kindly to check their breakfast service he got very mad at me, really furious and yelled at me that there is nothing wrong in their breakfast service. He said there is stomachflu epidemia in Sestriere. That might be, but it is very doubtful that 5 out of 7 of us would get the flu in the very same time, within an hour.
So be careful with the breakfast in Fraitevino.

Dear Sirs,

should You go to the doctor’s (medical services are on the square, just in front of the hotel), You’d receive a proper assistance and explanation on 2017 gastro intestinal virus epidemia in resort.
Anyway, since we take all our Guests’ complaints very seriously, we have immediately taken all the appropriate measures provided by our HACCP Protocol. Moreover We have brought your feedback to the attention of “You Travel Tour Operator”.
We are truly sorry for your experience but we are on the other hand certain of our procedures.

A really friendly hotel with great staff.

The location is great, overlooking the mountains and 5 minutes walk from the piste. The breakfast provided is varied, the recommendations for local restaurants (try La Cioca or Pizzeria Da Gennaro, both of which are in a neighbouring village called Grange Sises, a complimentary shuttle service is provided by the restaurant owners!)

Would definitiely recommend staying here!

Room Tip: If travelling with 3, ask for room 20 which comes with a wrap round balcony with views all around the mountains.

This is a great mid priced hotel with views, good facilities(except for the lack of a warmed ski boot holder) breakfast and staff. The one thing I would say is if you dont like a bit of an uphill trek in your ski boots arrange an on piste ski locker with someone like rent-go - you can get a discount from the hotel I beiieve.
