Beautiful hotel overlooking the POSTCARD view of Positano. What a sight to see from our balcony!! I cried when I opened the doors. The room was shockingly huge, so was the bathroom. Everything was clean and white - which contrasts so nicely with the amazing ceramic floor tiles - every room was different! Breakfast was great, a good selection of food and you can eat it out on the common balcony which is also overlooking the town and the water. This hotel in the middle of all shops and restaurants and is an easy walk to the beach and easy to get to cause its off the main road...no stairs necessary. Being off the main road was not a problem at all, in fact we liked it. Positano was the most amazing place I have ever been and I wish I had more time here. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone I know. Also -- side note, please eat at La Tera. Call in advance and a driver will pick you up at your hotel and bring to all the way to the top of Positano for the most amazing meal of your life!

Just note: no wifi in rooms

Room tip: superior rooms have been updated and are incredible

We really enjoyed the beautiful Hotel Savoia! We traveled as a family with 2 adults and 10-year-old twins. All employees were very kind and helpful. It was in a great location – right in town near shops and a short walk to the beach. They even gave us towels for the beach. It is decorated beautifully with bright colors and brightly tiled ceramic floors. They had an excellent breakfast in a gorgeous dining area and patio. The rooms were huge with 2 separate sleeping areas with queen beds, and large television (40”?), and a large balcony with a wonderful view of the city and mountain. Very luxurious for the price!

We stayed at a deluxe double room of this charming hotel for 2 nights. I chose it mainly because the room comes with a balcony that faces directly at the most picturesque slope of Positano, and it did not disappoint! The view was breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel is quite old, but everything was in great condition and very spacious. The only thing I didn't like is that there is no wifi in the room, only at the common area on ground floor and first floor. All in all, still highly recommended!

stayed here two nights. the location was ok, if you want to be higher up in the town. Most of the shops and restaurants are either at this level or lower. It can get tiresome hiking up and down the town streets

This family run hotel really knows how to make guests have a great experience. The rooms are beautiful and spacious (we had a suite) and the breakfasts were wonderful. The location of this hotel can't be beat in that you can drive to the front of the hotel (in order to have your bags and not have to use a porter) but you are just a few steps from the pedestrian only streets of restaurants and shopping. The wifi only works in the common areas which was nice to be able to unplug when you are in your room.
