Nased on a tripdvisor review we tried out this restaurant on the way back to the airport in Florence, We didn’t realize it was somewhat off the beaten track and on the way we were’t sure if we hadn’t lost our bearings. It was definitely worth the trip. We had amazing home cooked food. No fuss, just authentic ingredients prepared well. Bring time, because freshly cooked meals take time but it is worth the wait. Don’t expect anything fancy, in German one would say “bodenständig”. We just had time for antipasto and primi piatti, but were more than satisfied when we were done. We sat outside just where the road takes a turn but given the minimal traffic this was not a problem. In Pisa the temperature was 30 degrees Celsius, at the restaurant we just reached 20 degrees. We would definitely go back.
