I will be staying at the hotel in a few weeks and contacted the hotel via email about a transfer from the train station to salerno to the hotel. Elisabetta Santalucia has been emailing me answering all my questions, and getting everything set up. She's done an amazing job and I can't wait to stay at this hotel! Will update the review once I actually stay there, but I'm sure it will be nothing short of 5-star.

The hotel and staff were really excellent throughout our stay. "Privelige" room was spotlessly clean. View of the mountains is fantastic from the large balcony. Gardens and pool well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, meats, locally produced cheeses and much more.
As previous reviews stated, there are weddings here all the time but these were never an issue. Staff were always happy to help arrange things for us and make calls for taxi's.
Short walk to the beach was well worth it and there was a small shop where we bought water from at extremely reasonable prices. Pool area with bar is lovely and something of a cool oasis while we were there. Wifi in room not strong but in the central reception and at breakfast was more than adequate.

Room tip: Loved the balcony with mountain views, Privelige room.

Short stay with my family.

Spotlessly clean, the cleanest of clean.

Interior shiny and glamorous- they specialise in weddings, of which there were several in the short space we were there. However this didn't interfere with our stay in any way.

Room smart and well appointed, bed and sheets comfortable. Bathroom smart modern and clean! Nicely air conditioned.

Unexpected positives: child care for a few hours a day included but not on the web site. Our children ( 9 and 6) loved the animatrici , although they usually avoid that sort of thing! They happily did art and craft, played in The beach or in the pool with them!

Free access to the beach over the road with sunbed and parasol included ( Lido Athena), a short walk through the pine wood.

The beach was sandy, clean with spotless gentle shelving water- lively!

We only took breakfast at the hotel, which was beautifully and professionally served.
Wide selection of a good variety of food. And all on a lovely out door terrace.

Lastly, thanks to the front of house staff. We arrived in the early hours of the morning after an unexpectedly long and difficult journey. They kindly accommodated a larger booking a short notice, and provided two big plates of fresh fruit ( at 1 am!) at no charge, when we were quite desperate.

Excellent location to visit the wonderful Temples of Paestum, 5 min away by car.

This hotel under-sells itself. OK, so the main business is as a wedding/communion type place it is very comfortable and I doubt that there is better available. It works well - drive up, park and settle in. We arrived with 2 children at well past midnight and the night staff were very helpful when we asked for a plate of fruit to provide it when they could have said that it was too late - a commendable attitude. It also has a wonderful equipped beach (Athena Beach - they should tell you!) that is reached through a pine forest where italian style there will be a man that once you announce you are staying at Savoy Beach gives you a bed and an umbrella. The on site beach bar and restaurant are both excellent. The sandy beach is on the Gulf of Salerno and is perfect for young children - the depth increases very slowly. Finally a special note for those with children: there is an ad hoc kids club where some charming young girls - special thanks to Paola - will look after the children for 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon either by the pool or even by the sea. This is a huge bonus that we were unaware of. Full marks. So why 4 stars rather than 5? The hotel is spotless but beyond this oasis of cleanliness the public areas as so frequent in Italy are considered no man's land so we have the usual combination of rubbish, littering and threat of petty crime that can leave a bitter taste. Finally, it is not cheap but I would happily pay it again given the environment, staff, excellent breakfast and beach all at a stone's throw from the wonderful temples.

Have stayed at this hotel in the Campagnian coast since it was new, The hotel is well maintained and has been taken good care and they have improved especially the food during the latest years. it is not a large hotel, personal and very nice staff, many of them have worked here for many years. The new breakfast is really good, focus on local and how many hotel can provide their guests with own buffalo milk yoghurt, olive oil, fresh mozzarella and ricotta. Good design and overall really clean and high service level. many of the guests has been seen during the years, most of us stay about 10 days and enjoy Italian summer life, with either on the beach or at the pool. Highly recommended! Have spent more than 160 nights at this hotel. Don´t forget to visit the restaurant Tre Olivi in the house, high ambitions!

Room tip: For best view choose a de luxe room with balcony facing the garden and the pool
