Overall this was a good choice for our family vacation to see the Temples in Paestum, which was the primary reason for us to stay at this hotel. Italy family vacations can get crazy and this hotel with its pool and beach amenities provided rest and relaxation time while sightseeing around Paestum, which was an added benefit.

The Temples are a quick drive, which worked out great. We were able to jump over at night to see the Temples all lit up in their majestic glory. Then we were able to do the same during the day. It is hot during the summer. The hotel location made it easy to cool off in the pool and take a dip in the sea after morning to mid-afternoon sightseeing. Traveling with 7 year old there is need for fun activities, which pool and beach provided.

The room was nicely appointed. Excellent space, comfortable, and clean. We opted for the sea view balcony, which provided pleasant view across the trees to the Cilento Coast. The Amalfi Coast mountains were also a nice sight to the north. At night we could hear the sea, which was a plus. We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot speak to the food. Our son likes to play the piano, which the kind staff allowed. Everyone was very friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again when headed down to visit the area.

Room tip: For best view request room on high floor

We travel a lot, and stay in different hotels, usually accepting different misunderstandings as cultural education. But this hotel was huge disappointment. This hotel is for the wedding receptions, that happens twice a day, every day during our 5 night stay. We absolutely had no sleep at this hotel due to the load music, singing and noise from the wedding guests up to 1-2 am. Almost every single wedding been filmed with drones, that raises a big concern about the hotel guests privacy. During the wedding receptions, hotel closes swimming pool for hotel guests so wedding people can have nice pictures by the empty pool. Very disappointing stay. Hotel is not 5 star, if we are generous we'd give no more than 2 stars.
Breakfast at hotel was very averaged and didn't change at all during the 5 days. Hotel has a private beach, but you must pay to get in, plus pay for umbrella, bed, mattress. Every single time you use it, you have to pay. Very disappointing.

Room tip: Room with sea view more expensive but see is too far to be seen. Plus very noisy at night.

We came here with my son and my parents for 4 nights. The rooms were clean and spacious, there’s a great jacuzzi and the beach which is close was also really pleasant and clean - my son loved it. The best part of the stay was the great service that we received. We get great recommendations for food and where to visit. My son was sick and the hotel owner personally sent us to her doctor and made sure we didn’t have to wait or pay. It truly made the stay pleasant and fun! Thank you to the whole staff!

A surreal experience and a bit like living in a wedding video without the bride & groom! Beautifully decorated throughout the Reception, Pool & Dining area with a fabulous Pool & Jacuzzi with lots of places to sunbathe or sit. The room was pleasant enough & clean and tidy - we paid extra for a sea view which to be honest was not worth it. Breakfast was good with lots of choice, Dinner whilst not expensive was too much with 4 courses and the grilled beef was awful although the smoked salmon, mushroom ravioli, pasta with seafood and fried fish were good but sadly my pudding - a white chocolate pyramid was still frozen although my husbands was delicious. There is nothing close by but it is close and within easy walking distance of Paestum which is definitely worth a visit so this Hotel served it’s purpose for us. An outside Bar - that was open - would be good & it is definitely a wedding venue as opposed to a holiday destination.

We booked this hotel for a last minute holiday in mid October and were very, very disappointed. Especially as it wasn’t cheap and was never advertised as being partially closed due to it being the end of season. On arrival we had to pay to upgrade to a sea view room despite the fact the hotel was empty which was poor customer service. We then found the room was very dusty and very old. The hotel and entire resort was pretty much closed down as it was the end of season. The only other guests were wedding guests and all of the local restaurants were closed. As we didn’t have a car this meant we had no means of getting dinner without paying for an extortionate taxi to the nearest restaurant. You can borrow the hotels bikes to cycle to this restaurant but be warned you will be cycling in pitch black to get home. Staying in a remote hotel would be fine if the facilities were good but sadly at the Mec Paestum they were not. Breakfast was included but it was very basic and there was nothing fresh. To make it worse we were only allowed to sit on one table in the corner of the room as the rest of the tables were laid out and decorated for the wedding viewings. The bar was rarely open and when it was we were told it didn’t serve food as the season had ended. It soon became apparent that this is a wedding hotel and paying guests are not important to staff. They even close the pool when weddings are taking place! They shouldn’t be allowed to keep charging people to stay here when they are clearly closed for the season and only open for weddings and wedding viewings. Do not make the same mistake as us!!
