Actually we found "almost" everything about this hotel good: the location, patio and garden around the hotel with enough and inviting sits for relaxing ... great breakfast (!), one can enjoy it on the terrace; service nice, friendly and helpful ... The beach is within less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
Important!: the parking lot belonging to the hotel is large and for free!
The only "almost" is the size of the rooms....but , who wants to stay in a room when the nature, sea...beautiful cities and piazzas of Piza, Lucca, Pietrasanta, Cinque Terre, and even Florence are so close :) :)
Absolutely worth and beautiful place for short and LONGER stays! We will be back! :)

My boyfriend and I enjoyed three nights at the beautiful Pietrasanta Marina. Absolutely recommend this sandy gorgeous beach with warm waters and with a spectacular backdrop of mountains. Note that beaches are private and we ended up paying $38 Euro to rent lounge chairs and an umbrella for the day. The Hotel Pinmar was relatively affordable and less than a 10 min walk from the beach. The hotel has a lovely patio for guests but the rooms leave much to be desired. While they are clean, they are small and un-luxurious. The staff are friendly with limited English, which should be expected for the area. Also, I highly recommend a trip to the main Pietrasanta area for dinner and drinks. On our next trip we would look elsewhere as there are plenty of options.

Thanks Tatyana for your review.
We are happy that you have spent a lovely holiday in Versilia. We regret that the room was not entirely of its kind. The hotel has rooms of varying sizes, services and prices; the room you booked was one of the cheapest. Anyway, we like you to have appreciated, on our advice, Pietrasanta, una vera bellezza !

I stayed for 2 nights with my husband before travelling further up the coast. The hotel staff were friendly on arrival, they didn't speak much english but tried their best. Room was very small with not a lot of room to move around. We ate in the hotel for breakfast and for lunch one day. We weren't informed on arrival that you need to give the chef your order an hour before lunch so luckily he agreed to do us some pasta and fish for lunch or otherwise we would have missed out. The gardens are small but pleasant enough to sit in and relax. Hotel about a 5 min walk from the beach. The private parking had plenty spaces. Very basic but did the job.

We stayed in hotel 1 night only on our way to Tuscany
Room and bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and WIFI was good in the room
Hotel management is not professional they did not read our reservation request .We asked advertised option for extra bed for children and we did not got it .We had to pay extra for our 10 year old son - regular rate as per adult ! That spoiled our stay in this hotel. Also position of hotel is not very good it is close to coast but it is far to public beach, shops, restaurants etc.

Hotel Pinamar is located a 7-minute walk away from the sealine. Although it doesn't have a pool of its own, we were told that the hotel cooperates with a private beach called Tirrano and hotel guests can get a -20% discount. The hotel itself is pretty cool - chilling area is rather comfy, there's plenty of parking area just across the hotel and the room we got was up to our expectations. Breakfast was good - plenty of choices to everyone. They served croissants, different hams and jams, muffins and corn flakes. There was a selection of fresh fruits as well.all in all, the staff was friendly. Well worth the cost.
