Stayed in the middle of May so wasn't into the high season. To be honest paid such a low price 38e/night that I wasn't expecting much, but it was great. We were upgraded to a sea view room with a small balcony which was lovely to sit out on, but was a little cramped with two of you. Enjoyed just sitting there watching all the locals getting prepared for the season. The rooms are quite quirkily decorated which I liked and comfortable. The floor of the shower was wood which seemed a bit strange but did the job. Right on the beach what more could you ask for. Few restaurants and a bar close to hand, one of the restaurants is owned by the hotel so you get a discount in there. Lovely walk along the promenade to Cattolica. Breakfast typical Italian with boiled eggs available. One thing we weren't aware of was the hotel is locked up at midnight, so it was lucky one of our group had gone back earlier so was able to come down and let us in. Only us English out in the Pirate bar late at night in May.
