Stayed one day. Sympathetic and kind people. Place is very beautiful near forest. Price very resonable and good restaurant! Decoration was not top, but stay was wonderful. Little far from ferrara center. Good breakfast with fruits and hand made cappuccino.

Here by many days. It's a very good place in a quiet location close to Ferrara and to Arcispedale Sant'Anna.
Lovely and comfortable rooms and a very good breakfast.
Wi fi line it's a little bit down sometimes.
Thank you all anyway. Less is more.

I have been using this hotel for the same trade fair for 15 years and my most recent visit was in September 2014.
Certainly the decor has seen better days and in better trading conditions the rooms/bathrooms could stand a refurb but the linen and the rooms are always very clean. The quality of the wifi has now improved throughout the hotel and the outside areas are well looked after. The staff are always very helpful and responsive.
The only drawback, not unusual for Italian hotels, is the quality of the breakfast which really could bear the owners trying to improve. The coffee is good, but the bread, fruit juice and croissants are not! The rooms are very well priced and I personally would pay a little more for a better experience at breakfast.
The access to the hotel is much better since the nearby hospital was opened, making the hotel only 10 minutes from the A13 Ferrara South.

Room Tip: If there are any public events being held, make sure your room is away from the main stairwells.

After a long drive from Garmish to Ferrara we had booked into Villa Regina for one night with our 2 dogs. Although hardly any english spoken they owners were very friendly and accomodating and the room was comfortable. In need of a bit of TLC but a nice rustic place to stay enroute to our ultimate journey as we were moving to Ferrara. The restaurant in the hotel was lovely and the Chef came out and took our order. He was quite a character and although neither of us spoke the same language we managed to converse and had such a laugh The food was delicious and we will definitely be going back.
