First, i would like to comment the receptionist who was very friendly. Also, since my room had a sky window which was left open rain sipped in and made the whole bathroom wet. The receptionist came herself and dryed the room. The date: 16/7/18 18:00.
The shuttle to historic center works only in the evening and was very helpfull for dining and viewing the city. The driver was nice and friendly.
I gave only 4 points because a modern hotel should have more than one electrical socket available. Shower in bathroom is prone to slipping accidents and a handrail zhould be inserted.

I made a booking to this hotel and unfortunately, I had to cancel the booking. So, I have no opinion on the hotel, excepted that the immediate surrounding area is not as nice as it looks like on pictures.
Having said that, they made a reservation of money on my credit card. Cancellation was free of charge, but more than two weeks afterwards, the money is still reserved on my credit card. Mails, phone calls, Nothing to do. They said it takes time etc. While at the same time, it took 1 hour for another hotel (in the Netherlands) to release the money. So, pay attention to that.

Hotel is located in an office type building. Rooms are older and you can hear the neighbors through the walls. 15 minute walk to restaurants or use hotel shuttle to travel to historic area. Receptionist was super friendly and helpful. She was a 5 Star employee in a very average hotel. You can also rent free bikes from hotel but difficult to ride in city with all the traffic.

We meet the two most kind and friendly receptionist during this vacation at this hotel, helped with restaurants and things to see in this city.

Breakfast could be improved, wide selection, but dry bread and cakes.

The signage for the hotel is a bit problematical as we had to drive way past it, the whole length of Via Darsena, and then turn around before we saw the logo. The parking seemed to be plentiful. The cheerful receptionist who welcomed us, was charmingly chatty and gave us lots of friendly advice during our stay. I'm ashamed to say that I omitted to ask her name, but she was so bubbly and enthusiastic in her work that I am sure she would be recognised by her management by this description.

I'm sorry to say that the public rooms, stairways, carpets and our room are in great need of refurbishment - they are not 'shabby chic' they are just shabby. Perhaps this is why the price of the room was relatively low?

To return to the positive, the room and bathroom were a good size, and the balcony was a nice addition. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. Breakfast was varied and plentiful - we were one of the last couples to arrive in the breakfast room, but we never felt hurried and there was still enough choice - including Buck's Fizz but sadly we had a car outside!

The stroll into town was very pleasant, but since we were only staying for one night we got a taxi back as we were not sure of the way in the dark.
