This agriturismo is a winery with some really good wine, and a great place to stay. Did you know that Italy is a major kiwi and kaki fruit producer?! Both are grown here, in addition to grapes, on trellis, just like grapes. Antonio and his brother own/operate this agriturismo, just great people! Centrally located to visit Bologna and the Adriatic coast towns, the hill towns around Faenza, San Marino, and a long day to Florence or Siena, and Tuscan hill towns. Oh, and of course Faenza and its ceramic art studios and restaurants!
Antonio puts on a really good Italian breakfast. Fresh pastries (see photos) and flowers on the table in the morning. A list of attractions and restaurants in the surrounding towns can be had for the asking. Nothing quite beats a "local" for having ideas on what to see! And really good wine! From the reds to sweet whites (Queen of Hearts - not a big sweet white fan, but I liked this one). Corallo Nero 2008 Reserve was great! Oh, the room are named after their wines.
